A story led me here years ago when I didn’t even realize there was a story I needed to tell.
Life has a way of showing us who we are and what we’re made of. After separating from the military and while searching for meaning of and in my life, words found me in a place of dissonance and invited me to experience something different. As I began the journey of telling that story, I saw glimpses of me on the page—a mirror reflecting pieces of my soul I had never seen before. I had discovered what I was longing for. And that’s why I continue to write.
It was an unfamiliar voice—a voice that had an urgent conviction that I needed to pay attention to. As she spoke, I wrote. And I wrote until those pages became a story from my soul.
I am a character-driven storyteller creating content that explores intra- and interpersonal relationships and focuses on themes that encourage others to see, think, feel, and experience life in new and better ways.
